Colin Turner Officially Qualifies for Manassas City Council Ballot
MANASSAS, VA — Independent candidate Colin Turner has officially qualified for the ballot in the 2026 Manassas City Council election following verification of his petition signatures by the City of Manassas.
The announcement comes on the heels of a successful campaign kick-off event in Historic Old Town Manassas that brought together residents, community leaders, and supporters from across the city.
“I’m grateful to every resident who signed a petition and helped make this milestone possible,” Turner said. “This campaign is about listening to residents, strengthening trust in local government, and ensuring Manassas continues to grow thoughtfully while preserving the character that makes our city special.”
Turner, an Old Town homeowner, preservation advocate, and business consultant, is running on a platform of responsible growth, transparent leadership, historic preservation, and long-term infrastructure planning.
